About Cole's Case

Information regarding officer-involved deaths is fully available to the public, as a matter of public record due to the mandatory inquest process. Cole's family has filed several Freedom of Information Act requests with the Billings City Attorney's office to obtain documents regarding Cole's death, and has made the choice to share them here. We feel the public should be aware of what the process looks like, and that sharing the details of the injustice that happened to Cole will help the public understand why the family continues to fight.
